After earning my Master’s in Biology from ASU in 2024, I stepped into the classroom as a high school science teacher. I loved inspiring young minds, building connections, and helping students see the beauty of biology in everyday life. But deep down, I missed asking scientific questions myself—diving into research, exploring the unknown, and being part of discovery.

That pull brought me back to ASU for the third time—this time as a PhD student in Biology. I’m thrilled to begin my doctoral work at the Biodesign Institute in August 2025, where I’ll be combining my passions for microbiology and education.

This journey isn’t just about earning another degree—it’s about expanding my impact. I want to contribute meaningfully to the scientific community while continuing to teach and inspire others.

I believe that purpose and passion are the roots of happiness—and I’m a very happy person.
