Arizona State University alumni meet and connect through groups called chapters and clubs. These groups are often led by alumni volunteers and are based on where you live now, the college or school you studied at and other special interests.

Frequently asked questions about alumni groups

ASU alumni chapters and clubs are volunteer-led groups that connect Sun Devils through shared regions, interests and identities. They offer resources to stay connected to the university, including networking opportunities, social events and community service projects.

To stay informed about events hosted by your local chapter or club, be sure to update your contact information. You’ll then be sent important details about news and opportunities in your area through your chapter or club newsletter. To receive multiple chapter or club newsletters, fill out this form.

No, all ASU alumni chapters and clubs are free to join. However, some events or activities may require a registration or participation fee.

All chapters and clubs are led by dedicated volunteers. If there isn’t one in your area or for your interest group, and you’d like to start one, please contact us at [email protected].

International alumni connections are ASU graduates who serve as local contacts for Sun Devils abroad. Whether you’re relocating, studying, traveling or simply exploring a new place, these alumni offer valuable insight, helpful introductions and a warm Sun Devil welcome.

Events vary by group and may include networking mixers, game-watch parties, service projects, professional development workshops, family-friendly outings and ASU-related celebrations.

Many chapters and clubs also host virtual events, including the ASU Online Alumni Chapter, which connects Sun Devils worldwide. Members of the ASU Online community are encouraged to join local chapter events as well.

In addition, several groups organize fundraising events to support scholarships for current ASU students from their region or area of interest.

While chapters and clubs are primarily for alumni, many welcome current students, family members, friends and ASU supporters to participate in events. Some groups also offer mentorship opportunities that connect alumni with current students.

The Young Alumni network is designed for Sun Devils ages 35 and younger, but all ASU graduates are welcome to participate.
